Chances are you got our Christmas card. You were either brave enough to type in the URL, or you have a smartphone with a QR Reader, AND you know how to use it. Either way, welcome to our 2013 Holiday letter. We’ve done digital before, but Sarah and I were feeling so pressed to “perform” on our letters, and we know that you’re mostly interested in how the kids are doing. OK – what’s a DS? Aside from that mystery from a non-techie, this Christmas card was wonderful, especially Henry’s revelation of the cause of his bloody nose. Thanks to Emily, James and Henry for sharing 2013 memories! Merry Christmas to all.

A good question, Aunt Georgia. A Nintendo DS is a handheld gaming system from Nintendo. It is the GameBoy of my kids generation. And it’s all that Henry can talk about most of the time. Henry does not have one himself, so he must live vicariously through his big brother and his older cousins.
